OUR SUITE OF ENERGY AND CARBON COMPLIANCE SERVICES WILL HELP TO KEEP YOU COMPLIANT, MAXIMISE ENERGY SAVINGS AND AUTOMATE DATA COLLECTION

ENERGY & CARBON COMPLIANCE

Businesses today face significant targets when it comes to reducing energy and carbon emissions and are under pressure to adhere to strict regulations. However, energy and carbon compliance and accreditations can offer significant business benefits such as reducing operating costs, meeting customer sustainability demands and increasing business revenue.

We help consultants save time on compliance, by using our data acquisition platform, consultants can access key insights, spend less time capturing data and more time analysing to drive real business value.

e4.ZERO provides customers and energy consultants with a robust strategy for data collection and full transparency of consumption. The platform provides a holistic business review of energy and carbon consumption to help businesses keep track, and identifies areas of focus, to drive continuous savings and meet evolving legislative requirements.

ENERGY SAVINGS OPPORTUNITY SCHEME (ESOS)

ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment for organisations in the UK. Businesses that qualify must carry out assessments every 4 years, and include audits of energy used in buildings, industrial processes and transport to identify cost effective energy saving measures.

e4.ZERO provides:

  • Total consumption for a reporting period
  • Intensity Metric e.g kWh/number of staff
  • Regression analysis using degree days
  • Day/night split analysis
  • Automatic baseline calculation
  • Forecasted savings based on identified projects
  • Consumption drill down into SEUs and problem areas
  • Accurate ROIs

STREAMLINED ENERGY CARBON REPORTING (SECR)

SECR helps businesses improve energy efficiency, reduce their carbon emissions and remove some of the administrative burden of overlapping carbon schemes. The qualification criteria is similar to ESOS and was introduced in April 2019.

The GHG Protocol have defined three scopes of emissions, representing the different sources from which emissions are produced.

Scope 1 and 2:

These are a mandatory part of reporting for many organisations and relate to systems that are within reasonable control of an entity, such as onsite and purchased energy.

Scope 3:

Scope 3 emissions are a result of your actions which occur at sources which you do not own or control and do not fall under Scope 1 or 2 emissions. Scope 3 emissions remain mostly voluntary to report, however, in most cases the reduction of Scope 3 has the potential to have the largest impact.

e4.ZERO provides:

  • Total consumption for the reporting period
  • Intensity Metric e.g kWh/number of staff
  • Automatic carbon conversion

  • Quantify require offsetting amount
  • Reporting to stakeholders
  • Verification of project savings
  • Full disclosure of specific carbon products to supply chain
